The XR Association promotes the dynamic global growth of the XR industry, which includes virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed-reality, and future immersive technology. Recently, Mieron was referenced in a letter to submit comments in response to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) Patient Engagement Advisory Committee’s meeting regarding Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality Medical Devices. Technologies including Mieron are being sited as the Innovation of the Future, a cornerstone of future healthcare delivery, and is postivitely impacted with the passing of the CHIPS-PLUS Act: adding over $200B in Innovative Tech R&D through the National Science Foundation.
Tell Congress to support the CHIPS-PLUS Act to advance XR Technology adoption. This legislation designates “immersive technology” as one of the ten key technology focus areas to receive an additional $250B research and development funding through the National Science Foundation. It also establishes that XR is a critical part of the emerging technology ecosystem of the future.
